Natural Cotton Red Wormed With Spliced Eyes Bannister Rope complete with spliced eyes and 7 gun metal black low profile handrail bracket fittings. This Natural Cotton Red Wormed rope is the perfect rope to use indoors, we would never recommend using a natural bannister rope outside. Natural Cotton Red Wormed is soft to the touch and is available in 24mm, 28mm, 32mm and 36mm. The bracket inside the soft eyes will be attached to the rope. The rest of the brackets are free flowing, giving you the option on where to have them placed.
Worming
Worming is when a smaller rope is past around the strands of the rope to add a premium finish to any bannister Rope.
Fittings
We offer fittings in standard and low profile (please see the table below for sizes) Handrail brackets coming in 6 different colours: Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Copper Bronze, Gun Metal Black, Powder Coated Black and Satin Nickel. Fittings come in four different sizes: 24mm, 28mm, 32mm and 36mm.
This bannister rope will come with 7 Gun Metal Black Low Profile Fittings. With two fittings screwed in place behind each man rope knot and the other two fittings loose for you to fit in your required location.

Measuring
All our bannister ropes are measured from inside the spliced eyes, we recommend you keep this in mind when measuring your staircase. Stair Ropes UK recommends having a fitting every one metre. If your staircase has a corner we would advise having a fitting 150mm from each side of the corner. Drape
Do you need a drape on your rope? for a slight drape add 5% to your overall length of your stair rope, for a deeper drape and 10%.
